Sunday Team
Our Sunday Team ensures all aspects of our Sunday Experience run smoothly. From welcoming people in parking lots to distributing the Eucharist during Mass, roles cover a wide range.
Hospitality
Hospitality Teams live out our value of Abundant Hospitality. Members of the Hospitality Team help everyone feel welcome and informed while on campus, greeting people in the parking lot or at the door, answering questions at our Welcome Desk, helping guests find a seat, and looking after our safety.
Altar Servers
Altar Servers perform several duties around the Mass. Interested individuals are welcome to begin this ministry as soon as they have completed the 5th grade or reached the age of 11 and are encouraged to continue this ministry through high school.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
In every celebration of the Eucharist, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) share responsibility for distributing the Eucharist in a reverent and orderly manner. People are needed for all Mass times. There are certain qualifications and training required for this role. Once training is completed, you will be scheduled for your preferred Mass time and will be qualified to serve at any Mass. The frequency of being scheduled to serve will depend on the Mass time.
Lectors
Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Masses on Sundays and weekdays. A two-hour training class is required. Lectors are scheduled at their Mass of preference. For example, if you normally attend the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass, you will be scheduled at that Mass. Two Lectors are scheduled at each weekend Mass.
