St. Ann Homeschool Ministry
Who are we?
We are a group of families seeking to grow closer to Christ and the Church through prayer, the sacraments, and community. We are homeschooling families who use various curricula but come together for Academic Enrichment Days with Mass and extracurricular subjects, field trips, playdates, parties (All Saints, Friendsgiving, Epiphany, St. Valentine's, Divine Mercy, May Crowning, etc), mom fellowship events, events with dad, family gatherings (Kick Off, Field Day, etc) and more.
What Are Academic Enrichment Days?
Our community gathers for Mass together followed by rotations between various subjects such as (Art, Science, PE and Rise & Shine). Children are grouped by age (currently young toddlers through middle school). Every mom or parent that accompanies their children to AE Day is assigned a role based on gifts and needs.
How can I be involved?
We all work together (we are not a drop-off!) to serve our ministry and make our events happen using our different gifts, talents and interests. Some options for serving include: group leader, subject lead, administrator, substitute, photographer, party planning committee and more. No matter your gifts, we have a role for you!
We hold an online informational each spring for interested families to learn more about our group before registration. Families must attend an informational in order to register for the following school year. Details will be posted here each spring.
Registered and non-registered members can attend our monthly playdates and field trips! Please email us to join our slack for more information.
Thank you for your interest in joining our Homeschool Ministry for this school year. Please fill out the form with pertinent information using the “join the waitlist” button and we will contact you if spots become available.
You must have at least one child whom you are homeschooling in Kinder-6th grade, or are discerning doing so by the fall you join (5yo by Sept 1). We have curriculum for younger *siblings* 18mo- PK4. Additionally, if you have older teen children (7th grade and up) who would like to volunteer, they are welcome too.
However, if you are ONLY homeschooling preschool children, we recommend our preschool homeschool ministry instead. Please click the button below for more info.
