Dates for Food Distribution and Parenting Classes
The CCD Food Ministry at St Ann will have a mobile food pantry truck at the parking lot of St Ann on the second Wednesday and fourth Saturday of every month. Parenting classes are also available the 2nd Wednesday and the 4th Wednesday, and attending class is a requirement for receiving diapers

Are you looking for a way to serve those in need? Come join our ministry! CCD Food Ministry distributes food to families in need on the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Saturday of the month. For each food distribution, we need a total of 36 volunteers. We would love to have you join us and become part of our team! You will be serving others while enjoying new friendships and community. Here are roles needed at each distribution.
Parking Lot Attendants- Direct vehicle traffic through the distribution process. Come prepared for the weather.
Packer- Sort, examine, and pack food in bags to ensure freshness and readiness for distribution. Come prepared for the weather.
Offload Truck-Must be able to lift 50 LBS. Coordinates with CCD staff driver to unload and reload products from the truck to tables for Packers/Sorters. Come prepared for the weather.
Loader- Fill boxes and transport products to the family’s car. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Come prepared for the weather.
Paper Registration-BILINGUAL ONLY - Records client & household information using an iPad or on a paper form. Come prepared for the weather.
Data Entry- Laptop Data Entry: Enter client information from paper registration forms into the CCD website. Come prepared for the weather.
Evangelization- Evangelize to clients and should feel comfortable with face-to-face communication, and should be comfortable talking about the faith. Come prepared for the weather.
The first weekend of every month we are asking for food donations to stock our shelves for the Food Ministry. Please place items in the bin near the CLW room at St. Ann.
Suggested Items: Canned meats such as tuna and salmon, canned chili, canned stew, canned or dried soups, peanut butter, jelly (no glass jars).
