What people have said about their experience with RCIA:
"I came to RCIA as a non-Christian.
I left as a Disciple of Christ.
Thanks be to God!" - Dennis M.
"RCIA was an incredible experience that I will never forget. I truly feel like I gained a new family." - Tatyanny G.
"Before RCIA I knew very little about the Catholic Faith and even less about where I stood in my walk with Jesus. After going through the RCIA process I gained a significant amount of knowledge about the Catholic Faith. But more importantly, I gained a Church family that I can walk and grow in my faith with. RCIA has truly changed my life." -Trevor K.
"As a cradle Catholic, I had no idea how much I didn't know about my Catholic faith and I've
learned much. Most importantly, I find it to be such an honor and a blessing that the Holy Spirit has picked me to minister to, and journey with someone who is interested in learning about the richness and beauty of our Catholic faith. Our parish has become very small and RCIA has become a second home for me. The fellowship....such a gift!" - Susie W. (Sponsor)
" I’m able to deepen my own faith while sharing it with someone else in a caring, fun filled environment. I learn something new every week while building a friendship with a potential new Catholic. ... make the journey with the inquirer and encourage them to be open to the Holy Spirit as they discern their faith. I love being a part of their journey and look forward each fall to meeting my new inquirer and making a new friend."

Participating in RCIA as a sponsor and new Catholic was a humbling and enriching experience for me. As a "neophyte," it was challenging to accept the responsibility of leading someone on his journey "home." But being so new allowed me to relate and walk that much closer with my Catechumen on his journey.
