Lucy Faveron-Morin, MSSW

Lucy holds a Masters in Mental Health and a Social Worker Degree from the University of Texas, with almost 20 years of Professional Experience. She began her Social Worker career at the Justice Department in her native Peru . There, she primarily focused delivering social services and welfare programs for its employees. While in this position, she was recognized as the Most Outstanding Social Worker by Legal Services of Peru and by the International Red Cross. In the US. Mrs. Morin has served as a Latino Community Leader for The Family Place, providing counseling for Latino Victims of Domestic Violence. She has also been recognized as “Orgullo Latino” in 2008 by Diario Al Dia, the Spanish version of The Dallas Morning News. This award is given once a year to an outstanding Latino professional in the Dallas community. She has also been awarded The Supreme Award at The Family Place in 2008 for serving the highest number of Latino victims of domestic violence in the Dallas area. In 2009, Mrs. Morin served as the Social Worker for the Neurology Department at the University of Texas, working as a member of its Alzheimer’s Research Team. In 2010, Lucy Morin, while serving as a Community Outreach Coordinator for Victims Outreach, was recognized by The Mexican Consulate as a Latino Community Leader. More recently, she worked at the Alzheimer’s Association as the Manager of Family Services. Today, Lucy is working as an Eldercare Specialist for The Senior Source.
