St. Ann Parish will commemorate our celebration during this Jubilee Year of Mercy with the dedication of a life sized bronze sculpture of "Homeless Jesus" by Timothy Schmalz.
This visual representation of Matthew 25:40 suggests that Christ is with the most marginalized in our society. Shrouded in a blanket with His face covered, visible wounds on the feet are the only indication that it is Jesus. A limited number of casts have been made and placed throughout the United States and abroad.
Join in honoring our parish by making a home for the "Homeless Jesus" sculpture. Homelessness has many faces...searching for friends, grieving loss, suffering through separation or divorce, or struggling to separate from sin. Christ opens His arms for all.
