Good Samaritans
Good Samaritans Ministry is a goodwill organization designed to help our fellow parishioners. We work closely with the parish office to provide food and host, when possible, funeral receptions at St. Ann. This reception is complimentary to the bereaved family, thanks to the giving members of this ministry. Some volunteers donate their time by serving at the receptions, others by making or providing requested food. It all comes together with grace and love. Sometimes there are several days’ notice, sometimes less. Once we receive word from the parish office, all of our efforts are coordinated through email and Sign Up Genius. There are no committed meetings. You are welcome to help whenever you can. A second part of our ministry is aiding parishioners, who have no one else to turn to, by temporarily providing meals due to illness or unforeseen adversity.
