THE EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
During the Eucharistic Prayer, the servers sing or recite the responses and acclamations along with the congregation. They stand and kneel the same as the congregation.
THE COMMUNION RITE
After communion is over, candlebearers retrieve the ciboria covers from the servers' table at the rear of the sanctuary and brings them to the deacon at the altar. All servers line up with CR first in line, single file, near the altar waiting their turns to be handed the sacramentals from the deacon.
If the deacon or priest does not approach the altar, try to make eye contact.
If he still does not approach, the CR will remove any remaining decanters, empty ciboria with lids, and the chalice, but do not remove the corporal. The CR will hand any sacramentals to the candlebearers to clear the altar.
Remember that a slight bow is exchanged whenever vessels are passed from the deacon or priest to the servers.
